4Paws will be the featured group for a Mutt Lynch (Winery) Yappy Hour
on Friday August 11 from 4-7. Admission: $10 for a glass of wine that is given back to 4Paws.
Our goal is to offer a variety of opportunities for people and their pets to work together as canine-assisted therapy teams, to stay healthy and fit, and to find ways to enjoy life more fully at any stage.
As 4Paws has expanded to meet community needs, our educational outreach has grown, as well. Teams (handler and canine) are now invited to formal and informal gatherings at universities, schools, disaster sites, company meeting rooms and churches to de-stress and comfort students and adults.

A literacy program sponsored by 4Paws Learning and Wellness Center to help children not only learn to read, but love to read in order to give them the life-long skills necessary for happier, more successful lives. The program provides certified and trained canine-assisted reading teams to schools and libraries at no charge. Our teams work with children who are invited to read to the dogs and receive one-on-one attention in classrooms, after-school programs, and/or children’s libraries.
Our teams are local community members who want to serve others with their dogs. They are insured by 4Paws, and are vetted and trained to work with all ages in a variety of settings. All dogs are evaluated by a certified trainer/behaviorist and 4Paws veteran handlers. All are re-certified annually to assure they are vaccinated and healthy.
